FAQ
Common questions
What is Oyekool?
Oyekool is a platform for influencers and creators to turn their audience into income. Creators can share posts and products, like and engage with videos and posts, and earn from the results of their promotions.
How do I get paid on Oyekool?
Creators earn by completing campaign tasks such as liking or sharing a post, writing about a product, or starring a GitHub repo. Payment is made once the task is completed and the brand has verified your links — see "How is payment made when a task is completed?" below.
Which platforms can I use with Oyekool?
Oyekool supports creators across platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other social platforms.
Who is Oyekool for?
Oyekool is built for influencers and creators of different audience sizes who want to monetize their audience through promotional opportunities.
How do I find promotions?
Creators can receive notifications about available promotions or search for open opportunities on Oyekool. They can choose opportunities that fit their audience and interests.
Can I bid on promotions?
Yes. Creators can bid on opportunities such as liking a video, resharing a post, or creating original content.
How is payment made when a task is completed?
Every campaign has a price attached, either a fixed amount or the amount agreed after bidding. Once a brand approves you, the price is locked in. You complete the tasks, add a link to each one (your post, comment, like or GitHub profile), and the brand checks them. When every task has been verified, the brand marks the work complete and your payment is released.
How does a brand verify my work?
You add links to your posts, comments or GitHub activity on each task. The brand opens those links, checks they match what the campaign asked for, and either verifies them or asks for changes with a note on what to fix. You can replace a link that needs changes and send it again.
How does bidding work?
On a bidding campaign the brand sets a maximum bid, an optional minimum, and an end date for bidding. Creators submit the price they would do the work for before that date. The brand picks the bid it likes, and that bid becomes the agreed price. Fixed-price campaigns skip bidding: you apply, and if you are approved you get the listed price.
Can brands run campaigns on Oyekool?
Yes. Sign up as a Brand, create a campaign, and choose the tasks: like a video or post on YouTube, LinkedIn or X, share a post, write about your product with your own predefined text or the creator's own thoughts, or gain GitHub stars. You can combine several tasks in one campaign, set a fixed price or open it to bids with an end date, approve the creators you want, or invite a creator directly by email.
Can I work with a brand that invites me?
Yes. Brands can invite creators to a campaign. You will see the invitation on your dashboard with the price on offer, and you can accept or decline. Accepting works the same as being approved after you apply.
How do ratings and reviews work?
When a job is completed and the payment is released, the brand can rate the creator and the creator can rate the brand, each from 1 to 5 stars with an optional comment. Everyone has a profile showing their average rating, the number of jobs they have completed, how much they have spent as a brand or earned as a creator, and the reviews they have received, so you can check who you are working with before you apply or approve.
